MultiVAC Terms of Service

These Terms apply to the MultiVAC Discord bot and its associated features (the “Service”), operated by Intracoast Network Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service after these Terms are made available to you, you agree to them. If you do not agree, stop using the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how the Service processes personal information.

1. Eligibility and Discord rules

You must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age required by Discord and the law where you live. If you are below the age of legal adulthood, a parent or guardian must agree where required by law. You must also follow Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and the rules of the server where you use MultiVAC. MultiVAC is an independent service and is not endorsed by Discord or its AI providers.

2. What the Service does

MultiVAC provides AI conversations, research and information tools, image and video generation or analysis, and personalization and memory features. Availability depends on configuration, permissions, provider access, usage limits, and service capacity. Features may change, become unavailable, or be discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any particular provider, model, or feature will remain available.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• Break the law, infringe intellectual property rights, or violate another person's privacy.
• Create or distribute child sexual abuse material, nonconsensual intimate content, threats, harassment, fraud, malware, or other prohibited content.
• Impersonate others deceptively or present generated content as verified evidence of events that did not happen.
• Submit passwords, access tokens, payment card details, private medical records, or other sensitive personal information.
• Bypass safety controls, access restrictions, quotas, rate limits, or confirmation requirements, or interfere with the Service's operation.
• Access another person's stored information without authorization.

You are responsible for your requests and how you use or share responses. Server administrators must have authority to install the bot and should make these Terms and the Privacy Policy available to members before enabling it in a channel.

4. Your content and generated responses

You retain any rights you already have in content you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content, including permission to process other people's personal information or images when applicable. You grant us permission to process, store where described in the Privacy Policy, and share that content with service providers as necessary to provide the features you use. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

You may use generated responses subject to applicable law, these Terms, and any applicable third-party restrictions disclosed for the feature. We do not guarantee that generated content is copyrightable, unique, accurate, or free of third-party rights. Other users may receive similar responses. You are responsible for checking rights and accuracy before publishing or relying on a response.

5. AI limitations and external services

AI responses can contain errors, invented facts, unsafe suggestions, or outdated information. Independently verify material claims. MultiVAC does not provide professional medical, legal, financial, or emergency services. Do not rely on it as your sole basis for decisions affecting health, safety, legal rights, or finances.

Requests may be processed by external AI, search, media, and information providers. Their availability, safety rules, and relevant terms may affect the Service. Follow any applicable restrictions when using third-party content or services reached through MultiVAC.

6. Usage limits and charges

We may limit or decline requests to manage capacity, provider costs, or abuse. Some operations require confirmation before they run. Displayed API costs are usage estimates; they do not, by themselves, create a payment obligation. Any paid access or user charge must be separately disclosed and agreed before purchase, including its price, billing terms, and applicable refund terms.

7. Privacy and shared channels

Requests and responses in a Discord channel may be visible to other people with access to that channel. To understand a request, MultiVAC may process nearby channel messages, including messages written by other participants. Configured memory and reflection features can also process or retain information as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit content that you are not permitted to share with the Service or its providers.

8. Suspension and ending use

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements, platform requirements, or violations of these Terms. You may stop using MultiVAC at any time. Authorized server administrators can remove the bot or restrict its channel access. Removing the bot, deleting a Discord message, or stopping use does not automatically delete every stored record; use the controls or contact method in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, or availability.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service, including lost profits or lost data. These Terms do not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or remove mandatory consumer rights. No monetary liability cap is established by these Terms.

10. Changes and disputes

We may update these Terms and will publish the revised version with its effective date. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through the Service or its public policy location. Where required, we will obtain agreement before a change applies. Changes will not retroactively remove rights that have already arisen.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, and applicable federal law, subject to any mandatory protections and court access available where you live. Contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class action rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
